What types of hiring options do we offer our clients?


TEMPORARY LABOR
Temporary employment is an ideal solution for unpredictable workloads, project work, season peaks and other limited-term needs, such as leave of absence. Temp position timeframes can last from a week, to years, depending on your needs. Throughout the entire assignment the talent is employed by JIT, therefore, all Workers’ Compensation, Unemployment, Taxes and medical benefits are our responsibility, not yours.

Temping is a flexible option for clients and talent alike. It helps clients save on employee costs and allows talent to build a resume and gain experience in different skills and industries.

TEMP-TO-HIRE
A hybrid of temporary and direct hire, temp-to- hire (also known as contract to hire) is a way for clients and talent to test the waters. It allows potential employees to prove themselves to the client and see if the culture is a good fit. Likewise, it allows the client to test the candidate for a predetermined period of time. During the contract period the talent is employed by JIT.

The temp-to-hire process typically moves fairly quickly. Before entering into the process, clients outline the terms – how talent will be evaluated and when the contract period ends. Clients should also maintain open lines of communication and provide feedback to both the talent and JIT, to insure all is going well or determine the talent is not the right fit and a replacement should be made. Once a permanent position is offered and accepted, talent transitions from our payroll to the client’s payroll.

DIRECT HIRE
When a client has a higher level or professional position to fill, direct hire is ideal. Direct hire positions are permanent, full-time positions with benefits. Direct hire employees are eligible for company benefits such as health, retirement and PTO, and have the security of a long-term, permanent position.
